Day 81: Crafts
Day 81: I was trying so hard by getting all things together for Uliana to do an activity with her hands. It took her maximum 10 minutes to go through all of them. The website was promising me that it will entertain the kid for at least for half an hour. =( But it's OK, we had fun anyway.

Day 77: Deer
Day 77: For the first time a deer at Okshner's Park came to us today. Uliana and I have been at this park already hundred times and never-ever has a single deer come up to the fence. And a miracle, he came really close and actually started eating leaves from our hands. It was nice to hear Uliana's giggles.

Day 74: Country Bumpkin
Day 74: We made it to Country Bumpkin today with Uliana and friends of ours. This was the first time for me and Uliana walk in a hay maze. =)
Day 73: Bat
Day 73: During Kirtan night at our studio a bat decided to join our party and become a part of our moment of bliss. He was sleeping deeply already when we were done.

Day 72: Shower with closed eyes
Day 72: I took a shower with my eyes closed today. Good practice to stimulate your senses. Maybe next time I should try to cook like that. =)

Day 68: Super Star
Day 68: Never thought that I will be so proud as parent of a three year old. Uliana brought a diploma home: Uliana is a Super Star for going pee at school all by herself. =)

Day 67: Pancakes
Day 67: I decided to make cream cheese pancakes without any flour for breakfast today. After second one, I said "This is NOT working!!!"... to messy, to sticky, to liquidy... and then I decided to add some flour after all. Conclusion: is you want some pancakes, you will need a flour. =)

Day 66: Hugathon
Day 66: Hugathon
Over a period of two hours standing on a square today I gave out about 300 hugs including 3 puppies, one kitten, and 1 kick in the butt. What? Kick in a butt? Yea! One man came to me and he said that he really needs a hug. I gave him a hug, and then after he told me that he was going through some tough times in his life, I gave him a second hug. He said that he also needs a nice kick in the butt and so I happily, but gently, obliged, to help “kick”-start him into action. =)

Another memorable request was from one of the lady who came to me with tear filled eyes, and told me that she
really, really needed a hug today. I gave her a nice loving squeezy
hug, and then she told me that she was just diagnosed with cancer,
and then I felt like I needed to give her a really, really long
healing hug. We stood there hugging and the emotion of the moment
overcame me and we both stood their crying for a while...
My observations on types of hugs I gave away today:
- Chiropractic Hug - back crackers
- Tippy Toe Hug - trying to reach around the shoulders of someone tall.
- I-Guess Hug - jumping in front of people and they hug me even though they were not really interested at all - just standing there
- With-A-Mission Hug - where the person comes with a dedicated intent and desire for the hug, like to the most wonderful and passionate job
- Kid Hug - innocent and fearless
- Animal Hug - hugs to animals
- Oh-No-She-Has-Me Now Hug - no real effort
- Everybody-Needs-A-hug Hug - this is the main thing people said when they came to me for a hug
- You-Should-Charge-Us Hug
- You-Look-Like-You-Need-A-Hug Hug
- You’ll-Give-Me-A-Hug-If-I-Give-You-A-Hug-Back Hug
- Great Idea Hug - likes the idea
- Why? hugs - why are you doing this, curiosity
Access
Denied
- I have my wife for hugs
- no thank you
- not today!!! - My favorite!!!
- first I need to find a bathroom - another cool one
- ignoring me
- turning away to avoid the situation
- smiling as they pass
- nodding no
- I’ll give you a hug later... on the way back... when I'll return =)

Day 65: Pepper
Day 65: I ate my first own grown pepper today. Couldn't wait for it to grow even more any longer. Winter is on it's way.
Day 64: Fairy
Day 64: Convinced Uliana that fairies do exist. And today we were looking for them all over the house, because there were hiding.

Day 57: 77777
Day 57: 77777 - not everyday you can see this number on odometer in your car. In Russia number 7 is a lucky number. I got five of them. =)

Day 56: Sweet potato
Day 56: So, couple month ago I decided to have an experiment with a sweet potato. I planted it in the ground and let it do its job. Time went by and the plant became very bushy. And today I decided to dig it out... I was expecting to get a bunch of little baby sweet potatoes from it. Instead I found the same potato but bigger. Surprising!
